Lite-Check - Inspector 910B Supported ABS Types

The following manufacturers and types of ABS are supported by the LITE-CHECK INSECTOR 910B tester with software version 8.0 or greater:

For ABS ECU's that communicate via the 7-way connector (PLC), the INSPECTOR system will identify the manufacturer of a trailer's ABS system, present the current fault status and ABS indicator lamp status (cab on/cab off), then display the current fault using the ABS controller manufacturer's fault numbering format. Additional fault information provided by the individual ECU manufacturers is presented when the "Select" or "D" button is pressed on either the test unit or the remote control.

Information and help screen (Service Guidance) content is obtained from each of the above ABS OEMs. The LITE-CHECK process conforms to each OEM's procedure.

If the INSPECTOR does not support a particular ECU, the tester display will read "NOT SUPPORTED AT THIS TIME" or "UNABLE TO DETERMINE ECU TYPE".

The ABS test and inspection circitry contained within the INSPECTOR is fully SAE compliant and is powered by LITE-CHECK's own multi-vendor software.

True ABS test and inspection capability has been built into avery LITE-CHECK INSPECTOR and LITE-CHECK 910B tester manufacturered over the past 5 plus years. For older versions of the 910B trailer tester, manufactured from 1996 onward, a refurbishment program is available to bring these units up to the most recent INSPECTOR specifications. Testers being refurbished do not have to be in operating condition, but must be complete and unmodified. The original remote dos not need to be returned as the refurbished units receive the new long-range FM base remote control units.
